21st AIG Women's Open Championship
Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland
The 2021 edition of the AIG Women's Open Championship moves north from Royal Troon, site of last year's event to Carnoustie and one of the most famous of the Open Championship venues.
Carnoustie has been a fixture on the R&A's Open Championship rota, hosting the event 8-times so far, most recently in 2018. It has also hosted the Senior Men's Open twice and the Women's Open in 2011. This year's event marks the second time in hosting the Women's Open Championship.
This year has produced a set of first-time major champions in every event so far -- Patty Tavatanakit (ANA Inspiration), Yuka Saso (US Women's Open), Nelly Korda (KPMG Women's PGA) and Minjee Lee (Amundi Evian).
Naturally, will this year's AIG Women's Open produce another first-time major champion?
