MAJOR TOURNAMENT
2022 USGA
US Women's Open Championship

JUNE 2 - 5, 2022
WELCOME TO OUR TOURNAMENT HQ
for the
77th USGA U.S. Women's Open
presented by ProMedica
Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club will become the first venue to become a Four time host of the US Women's Open championship.
Part of North Carolina's golf course heritage along with its neighbour - Pinehurst, the course was originally designed by Donald Ross, opening in 1928. The course was renovated in 2004, restoring the green and bunkers to their original form. In 2017, the greens were rebuilt and the bunkers further restored.
Pine Needles ties to the LPGA go back to 1954 when golf legend and World Golf Hall of Famer Peggy Kirk Bell bought the lodge and course along with her husband. Since then, the course has hosted the US Womens Open in 1996 (Annika Sorenstam), 2001 (Karrie Webb), and again in 2007 (Cristie Kerr).
